Tobacco Policy:

Tobacco use IS permitted while living at the Recovery Residences. This includes; cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes and chewing tobacco. Clients must abide by the Federal age requirement of 21 years of age for tobacco purchase and use, and are required to to smoke in designated areas that comply with state regulations.

Cell Phone Policy:

Personal cell phone use is permitted while living in the Recovery Residence. In addition, clients have access to a landline located in the Recovery Residence.

Transportation:

Deer Hollow provides transportation to and from Outpatient programming. During standard business hours, we provide essential transport to the grocery store or pharmacy upon request.

Laptop / Personal Electronics Policy:

Clients are permitted to bring laptops and personal electronics. Deer Hollow does not provide access to a desktop computer at the Recovery Residences.

Gaming Consoles:

Clients are not permitted to bring gaming consoles to the Recovery Residences.

What is a Recovery Residence?

Our Recovery Residence offers a structured, independent living environment for outpatient clients that emphasizes daily personal accountability. It follows an abstinence-based approach, meaning residents are expected to abstain from drugs and alcohol as an integral part of their recovery process.

Can I have my car?

Yes. Personal vehicles are permitted, however clients must provide proof of a valid driver’s license, as well as current insurance and registration.

Should I bring my medications?

Yes. Please bring all of your current medications in their original prescription bottles.

Do you offer Private Rooms?

Our Recovery Residences have been designed for room sharing. However, private rooms are available on a first come, first served basis.

Are there laundry facilities on site?

Yes. The Recovery Residence is equipped with a washer/dryer, and each client is responsible for detergent and individual laundry care.

Can I send and receive mail?

Yes. Clients can have mail sent directly to the Recovery Residence. Individuals can update their temporary mailing address to reflect that of the Recovery Residence.

Can I have visitors?

Clients have the opportunity to receive on-site visitors, such as family and friends Our staff will provide clear explanations of the rules and regulations regarding visitation.

What is the average length of stay?

Please anticipate 45-90 days. We offer a continuum of care ranging from full time to part time services.
