“Moral Injuries” is a term not often referenced in stories about trauma. A moral injury is when you do something or are unable to do something that conflicts with your personal and professional values. Moral injuries may not be physical, but they have real mental health consequences.

This story is out of Calgary about healthcare workers’ continuous exposure to workplace stress and moral injuries, which can lead to PTSD and other mental health challenges. It’s a worthwhile short read.
